i started playing persona 5 less than two months ago and i'm already crazy enough to make a page about the poor guy on the left. if he doesn't want to suffer the agonies of a catharsis-seeking fandom girlie, then he shouldn't look so cute when bruised.

i call the p5 protagonist "amaren", a japanese style of portmanteau for one of his canon names, amamiya ren. i usually use canon names where i can, but nicknaming him gives me a similar sense of ownership as an entirely unique name.

amaren is a boyfriend, a son, and a victim to me. i want to date him. i want to tell him i'm proud of him. i want to inflict war crimes upon him.

"dollhouse" is the name of a fanfic i started planning in my head when i was barely into the game: a setting in which to maximize select flavors of amaren suffering by crafting an oc with a palace to victimize him.

god forbid shirome teika sets her sights on you, lest you end up in her basement and at the mercy of her delusions of a beautiful domestic life with her (kidnapped) husband.

amaren becomes one such target, seen on his way to school and stalked until teika finds the right opportunity to take him for herself.

tied up and left to rot whenever teika isn't playing with him, amaren has plenty of time to mull over his bruises, rope burns, and plans for escape.

teika had kept his phone and used it to send an alarming photo of his situation to the phantom thieves group chat. when the stars align, amaren is able to fight teika for his phone and uses metanav to flee to the palace he theorized she must have.

but coming from her basement means starting in the heart of her palace. despite his best efforts, joker is captured by the palace ruler (here called teika-sama) and subject to a new set of horrors possible in the metaverse.
